Hooksett Old Home Day Committee unfortunately has decided at the time it is best to cancel for Saturday, September 18, 2021!
Although the day usually filled of family fun! Music – Food – Entertainment – Vendors – Contests we feel with the growing concerns and uncertainty around the coronavirus (COVID-19) this seems to be a sensible decision.
Dear Hooksett Old Home Day Friends,
With great regret we, the HOHD Committee, have made a difficult choice to cancel the Hooksett Old Home Day 2021 event.
We ultimately need to consider the health and well-being of everyone associated with Hooksett Old Home Day, including the citizens of Hooksett and the surrounding communities.
The Hooksett Old Home Day Committee did not make this decision lightly. The event is our favorite way to celebrate our community with all of you.
Due to practical reasons with the growing concerns and uncertainty around the coronavirus (COVID-19) this seems to be a sensible decision. Public health experts agree that one of the most effective ways to contain the spread of the virus is to limit large gatherings and close contacts.
The Hooksett Old Home Day Committee remains committed to this annual event and the Town of Hooksett. We look forward to the 2022 event that will take place on the third Saturday in September.
The Hooksett Old Home Day Committee wishes you all the best health and safety over the weeks and months ahead.
